Our client, a busy community hospital in beautiful Lowcountry Hampton County, South Carolina., seeks a general surgeon for a thriving full-scope practice. As the department leader, you will have a great opportunity to manage the service line to your preferences. This hospital-employed position comes with a generous guaranteed salary plus bonus, a great benefits package, sign-on bonus, and paid relocation. The practice enjoys a very strong referral base and a high-quality reputation within the community. You will join a highly trained, competent caring team of staff providing an efficient operating room.

Position Details:

Cases include a mix between bread & butter surgery and endoscopies
Must perform colonoscopies and EGDs
3 days in OR and 2 clinic days per week
Hours are 8-5 offering a nice work/life balance
Surgeon supported by an affiliated hospital primary care practice group
Call is 15 days a month
Have the support of a PA who splits between general surgery and orthopedics
J-1 and H-1B candidates will be considered

Compensation/Benefits:

Guaranteed salary in the range of $375 - $400K, wRVU incentive bonus after two years
Sign-on bonus
Relocation allowance
Eligible for loan repayment via state rural health incentive program
Full package of benefits including dental, medical, eye, and a 403B plan
20 days PTO
