Outpatient Internal Medicine Physician - Alexandria, VA

Job Description

We are currently looking for a BC/BE Adult Family Medicine Physician or Internal Medicine physician for our traditional Adult Medicine practice. We are looking to expand our services and will be starting a new provider in December.

We are a well-established private practice and that works alongside 3 board certified Internal Medicine physicians, 5 Nurse Practitioners, a Physician Assistant and a tenured support staff
Our practice offers the full spectrum of primary care services to a diverse set of adult patients 16 years and older
Average patient load is 15-18 patients per day scheduled in a 4.5 day work week (36 hours of clinic time)
Our physicians are supported by the best in class EMR with an integrated telemedicine platform
Our patients have access to care after hours via our after hours nursing service and 24/7 telemedicine when our office is closed
We have case managers for our complex patients so that we can avoid unnecessary hospitalizations
We pride ourselves in providing comprehensive care that includes allergy testing and Immunotherapy, an on site lab, EKG/s, Vaccines, specialty care coordination
Additional language skills are preferred, but not required
Very light after hours practice call
