Job Description

MARIPOSA COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER's mission is to provide comprehensive ambulatory care where the patient's needs are always the primary concern of all staff. Physicians provide comprehensive medical care to various patients efficiently and cost-effectively.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practice, and medical care to give and evaluate patient care.
2. Know the organizational policies, regulations, equipment, and instruments to administer patient care.
3. Know the common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
4. Skill in applying and modifying professional nursing principles, methods, and techniques to provide ongoing patient care.
5. Skill in taking medical history to assess medical conditions and interpret findings.
6. Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence.
7. Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance.
8. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
9. Ability to maintain quality control standards.
10. Able to react calmly and effectively in emergencies.
11. Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.
12. Ability to communicate clearly.
