Stamford Health is seeking talented and experienced Surgical Technicians to join our Operating Rooms!
The Surgical Technician is an integral part of the surgical team and serves as the primary scrub person who handles instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures. Our operating rooms have advanced surgical technologies such as O-Arm, Intuitive Xi (newest version of the DaVinci Robot), Stryker spine navigation, ENT Technology and Zeego Hybrid Room.
We have openings at our state-of-the-art operating facilities below:
Stamford Hospital Main - Eight operating rooms with two special procedure rooms
Schedule: Day/evening flex shift, 7:00am-3:00pm, 11:00am-7:00pm and 2:00pm-10:00pm, rotating weekends and holidays
Hospital for Special Surgery and Stamford Hospital Collaboration - HSS and Stamford Hospital have entered into a unique collaboration to create the premier center for advanced orthopedics. The collaboration includes three inpatient operating rooms with opportunity for expansion.
Schedule: Four shifts per week, 7:00am-5:00pm, no weekends, holidays or call
Ambulatory Surgery at Tully Health Center - Five operating rooms
Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8:30am-5:00pm and 7:00am-3:00pm, no weekends, holidays or call
Job Requirements:
1) High School Diploma required
2) Certificate of completion from an accredited Surgical Technologist program required
3) 1-2 years' experience and certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
4) BLS certification required
