Westside Family Healthcare (WFH) is a nonprofit federally qualified health center that provides high quality primary medical and dental care without regard to ability to pay. The Family Medicine and Med/Peds Physicians are responsible for the provision of medical services to Westside’s patients in collaboration with the clinical team of providers and allied health professionals. The practice emphasizes health promotion/disease prevention activities as well as primary care and inpatient care management. The physician is expected to participate as a management team member for the development of new programs, review of existing, and the quality improvement activities of Westside. EEOE QUALIFICATIONS 1. Graduate of an accredited school of medicine 2. Licensure in the State of Delaware 3. Completion of a three-year accredited Medical Residency program 4. Board certification or eligibility within applied specialty 5. Eligibility for staff privileges to local hospitals associated with the health center 6. Understanding of and dedication to community health care and service to special populations 7. Spanish language skills preferred; cultural competence necessary 8. Excellent interpersonal skills
