As a Physician and Officer in the North Carolina National Guard, you'll join as a leader. You'll also do much more than practice medicine. you'll be given the opportunity to participate and innovate. In short, you'll have a chance to "make your mark."

Physicians enter at the minimum grade of Captain (0-3)

Up to $240,000 Student Loan Repayment (Medical School only)

Special Pay up to $25,000 per year for a 3 year service obligation

Flexible Training Policy which allows you to serve whle performing your duties as a civilian Physician

Stipend of $2000 per month while you are in Residency.
