The Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Floating Hospital for Children is seeking Pediatric Hospitalists to join our network of inpatient services at our newest affiliated hospital, Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, MA. We expect these positions to begin in July 2016. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a rapidly growing Division that combines inpatient clinical practice and community hospital service with academic interests. Clinical duties include management of inpatient pediatric admissions and consultations to the Emergency Department and Community Pediatricians, and coverage of deliveries and newborn care. Additional responsibilities include communication with primary care practitioners and quality improvement initiatives. Individuals may also elect to spend a portion of their time at the Floating Hospital for Children, our tertiary care children’s hospital based in Boston. The successful candidates will be BE/BC in Pediatrics, possess outstanding clinical skills and a strong interest in clinical education, be interested in contributing to the development of a new and rapidly growing academic division, and eligible for a faculty appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine. The Floating Hospital for Children is a 100 bed full-service Children’s Hospital and is part of Tufts Medical Center, the principal teaching hospital for Tufts University School of Medicine. The Floating is undergoing rapid expansion in conjunction with new community partnerships and subspecialty care growth.
