JOB PURPOSE ECC is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and certified as a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH). The Family Practice Physician at Escambia Community Clinics, Inc. (ECC) provides outpatient primary care to the patients of ECC. As an FQHC it is ECC's Mission is to treat a large population of medically needy, under insured, uninsured, and underserved population with compassion, dignity and respect for each person egardless of ability to pay for services. ECC is a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) partner and eligible to participate in loan repayment and scholarship programs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Practice of medicine as defined within their scope of license in the state of FL; Practice of medicine within the scope of their training; Practice of medicine within the scope of their credentialing in the state of FL; Practice of medicine in accordance with the current standards of care as defined and established by the standards of care for their license; Practice of medicine in accordance with the established ECC quality measures; Practice of medicine in a patient care medical home model, working collaboratively and professionally with the clinic team; At all times role model professionalism as a representative of ECC, this includes adhering to ECC policies and procedures and being a team resource; Participate in clinic meetings and functions including but not limited to peer review, Continuous Quality Improvement, chart reviews, provider meetings, etc. Adhere to all HIPAA, Conflict of Interest and confidentiality requirements; Other duties as needed to support the ongoing operations of the organization. SUPERVISION Mid-levels Medical Assistants MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Graduate of Accredited medical school with an awarded degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) Diploma/certificate of completion of Accredited Residency Current Board Certification (or ability to obtain within two years of graduation) Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Florida Ability to be credentialed with Medicaid, Medicare and insurance payers Current DEA certificate without restriction PALS, NRP, ACLS or BLS Job Title: Physician (MD or DO) Reports To: Chief Medical Officer (CMO) FLSA: Exempt Days/Hours of Work; Negotiable Location: ECC Main Site clinic is located in Pensacola, FL with 11 satellites in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties.
