MDs Needed in beautiful Arizona!

Southwest Network - Hampton Clinic

Job Description

Southwest Network is currently interviewing adult psychiatrists for our seven adult outpatient clinics in the Phoenix metropolitan area. We are a diverse and growing organization which provides integrated medical and behavioral health care to seriously mentally ill adults. The goal of the position is to meet the behavioral health needs of our underserved and often severely ill patients. The work is challenging, but rewarding, and truly helps people lead lives of value. When you join the medical team at Southwest Network, you will have the support of professional and experienced clinical teams and the backing of a large, established organization, giving you more time for patient care. The clinic will function much like a private practice—with support staff, regular office hours, a lab and more—without the headaches of running a business. You won’t have to worry about taxes, personnel, computers, maintenance, or even liability insurance. Your focus will be on the care you provide, not the money you bring in. Your schedule will be flexible and you will only be on call one week every six months, so you’ll have time to enjoy life. You’ll also have time to enjoy our beautiful weather and everything Arizona has to offer, including spectator sports, concerts, shows, festivals, shopping, hiking, biking, camping, tennis, golf, water skiing, and more. Plus, within a short drive are ocean beaches, snow skiing, and Las Vegas. In addition to an excellent compensation and benefits package, there are other advantages to working for Southwest Network. We have teaching affiliations with local and national universities, and because all our sites are approved by the National Health Service Corps (NHSC), you may be able to take advantage of the NHSC loan repayment and scholarship program. We are also willing to sponsor J-1 or H-1B visas. QUALIFICATIONS: Psychiatrist: Licensed by the State of Arizona, Board certified or eligible for Board certification, and valid DEA certification. Minimum of one year working with seriously mentally ill adults. For consideration, forward your CV to recruiter@southwestnetwork.org or contact our Recruiting department, 602.266.8402. EMPLOYER PROFILE Southwest Network is one of the largest community behavioral health providers in the U.S. We provide innovative programs and services for adults at seven clinics, for children and adolescents at three area offices, and at five Department of Child Safety co-locations. We have a long-standing reputation for excellence and for doing whatever is needed for those we serve. Our employees are important to us, and they’re important to the people they care for. So we meet as many of their professional and personal needs as we can and make sure their work environment is efficient and productive, yet pleasant and informal. We offer a generous compensation package, which includes a competitive salary and outstanding benefits such as paid sick, vacation and holiday time; liability insurance; medical, dental and vision insurance; retirement savings plan with company match; life, AD&D, and disability insurance; tuition reimbursement; domestic partner benefits; and more.
