Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, a 188 bed acute care hospital, is seeking several full time, board certified nurse practitioners to join our expanding hospital based psychiatric service. These salaried positions will focus on Emergency Department, Sunday through Saturday 9am-6pm. Responsibilities include providing psychiatric consultation, evaluation and medication management to patients in the ED and on the floors as requested. This provider will also be credentialed to provide full ACCESS evaluations in order to be available to help with such services if schedule allows. The other position is focused on the Behavioral Health Unit: Saturday 8am-5pm to Sunday 8am-5pm. Responsibilities include rounding on patients in the BHU and PHP, medication evaluation and management, intakes as needed. You would be joining two other full time psychiatrists, Masters level clinicians, and active department members from private practice and the local mental health center.
