Board Eligible/Certified in Neurosurgery. Fellowship training or additional specialized training in endovascular/interventional surgery. Must have New York State medical license or eligible for one. Preferred Qualifications: Three years of experience as an attending neurosurgeon. Evidence of interest in clinical or basic research. Responsibilities & Requirements: One full-time faculty position at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level in the Department of Neurological Surgery for Board certified or eligible neurosurgeon. Position entails joining a multi-disciplinary neurosurgery practice, including elective practice and shared call. The Cerebrovascular Center's clinical staff includes an experienced neurointerventional radiologist, specially trained Physician Assistants, and dedicated nurses and radiology technologists. The Cerebrovascular Center has dedicated space with exam rooms, offices, conference room, and secretarial support near the neurointerventional suites. Candidates with evidence of interest in clinical or basic research are preferred.
