Summary: The Institute for Family Health is seeking to expand the Family Medicine Faculty for our well established 10-10-10 combined MD/DO program. In partnership with the Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley, the Residency Program is an integral part of the hospital and the Hudson Valley medical community, touching the lives of both urban and rural populations. The Mid-Hudson Family Medicine Residency Program is a participant in the HRSA Teaching Health Centers Programs, with residents training in 3 distinct community health centers located in urban, small college towns, and rural settings. One of three residency programs operated by The Institute for Family Health, there are multiple opportunities for collaboration with our sister programs in NYC. Faculty are eligible for academic appointment at our affiliate medical schools- The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine. This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic Family Medicine Physician Educator who wishes to have an impact upon the next generation of Family Physicians. Responsibilities include direct patient care (Obstetrics is optional), teaching and supervising residents/medical students, curriculum development, and scholarly activities.
