MDA is seeking a part or full-time Psychiatrist 20-40 hours/week M-F for up to 1 year in Southeastern Ohio. Must be BE or BC. Fellowship in forensics ideal but not required. (These duties are illustrative only. Incumbents may perform some or all of these duties or other job -related duties as assigned.) Evaluates, examines, analyzes, diagnoses & treats consumers, prescribes medication & performs in -depth psychotherapy & counseling (e.g., psychoanalysis, behavior modification). Monitors & coordinates professional & paraprofessional medical, nursing & direct care staff in areas related to psychiatric care; reviews consumer records for accuracy & completeness; recommends improvements in hospital staffing & organization.
