The Division of General Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) is seeking an Internist at the Assistant Professor level to join our thriving and growing team. As an Assistant Professor, the physician will provide care to patients of the General Medicine practice in the ambulatory and inpatient settings; participate in the education and mentorship of medical students, interns, residents, and fellows; participate in departmental meetings and committee meetings; and contribute to other scholarly activities. The successful candidate should have an MD degree or equivalent, be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine and meet Texas State licensure requirements. Applicants must have academic inpatient experience.
