University of Maryland School of Medicine Overview The Department of Dermatology at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine seeks to recruit a candidate for a full-time position in general medical dermatology: The successful candidate will join our Department of Dermatology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and provide patient care and education within our residency training program. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest both in practicing and teaching general dermatology as well as non-Mohs surgical dermatology, and in developing a subspecialty focus in dermatology. Particular areas of subspecialty interest include inpatient consultative dermatology, complex medical dermatology, and/or dermatology of skin of color. A commitment to resident education is necessary. Additionally, dermatologists with a strong interest in artificial intelligence are encouraged to apply to participate in a funded machine learning venture. Expected rank is Instructor or Assistant Professor, however, rank and tenure status is dependent upon candidates qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.
