Academic Clinician-Educator The Division of Geriatrics at Montefiore Medical Center-Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York is seeking a full time faculty member. The Division of Geriatrics includes 10 physician faculty, a highly regarded fellowship program, and outstanding clinical programs in all care settings and a nationally recognized research program. The applicant should be board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and be BE/BC in Geriatrics and qualify for appointment as an Assistant or Associate Professor. The ideal candidate should be interested in teaching medical students, residents and fellows. The primary clinical responsibilities are in the ambulatory setting and include geriatrics consultations at the Center for the Aging Brain (CAB), a multidisciplinary dementia evaluation unit, and a designated NY State Center of Excellence for Alzheimer’s Disease (CEAD). The inpatient role includes involvement in a geriatrics-orthopedics co-management service. There is significant opportunity for academic growth and participation in research.
