U.S. Army Medical Corps PLAY A VITAL ROLE IN THE LIVES OF OUR NATION'S DEFENDERS As an obstetrician/gynecologist and officer with the U.S. Army Medical Corps, you'll provide medical care during pregnancies, perform obstetric deliveries and prescribes courses of treatment or surgery for cases concerning gynecological disease, injury, or disorder. You'll may have the opportunity to command medical units, perform staff functions in health support, research diseases, and participate in medical education.
