Job Description

St. Luke's Health System in Twin Falls, ID seeks a psychiatrist to join our busy team comprised of multi-disciplinary mental health providers who are extensively trained and highly dedicated. This position entails approximately 90% patient care and 10% medical directorship responsibilities. The chosen candidate will treat patients within both our adult inpatient facility and outpatient clinic with a broad range of pyschiatric disorders. The Site Medical Director will work in a close partnership with the behavioral health service line leadership team to positively impact the entire St. Lukes Health System. This role encompasses leading providers, focusing on clinical outcomes, supporting operational performance, and collaborating with provider leaders in other specialties across the health system.

Successful candidates will organize and run practice meetings at least monthly, attend and engage in regular leadership meetings (frequency to be determined by the leadership team). Successful candidates must also work in this location.

QUALIFICATIONS: (Minimum qualifications required for the job)

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of Medicine or Osteopathy and successful completion of an accredited residency program. Advanced degree in business, healthcare administration, healthcare quality improvement, or other is desirable, but not required.
Experience: At least 3 years of clinical practice required. Demonstration of progressive leadership roles within healthcare organization(s).
St. Lukes Clinic Membership: The Site Medical Director must be a member of the St, Lukes Clinic through an employment, PSA, or ESA relationship and in good standing
Licenses/Certifications: 1) Membership as a licensed physician (MD or DO) on a St. Lukes Medical Staff. 2) Maintain Board Certification within specialty 3) Ability to maintain at least a part-time clinical practice while performing the job duties noted above.
