Mid Coast Maine Regional Neurologist Opportunity Located on the shore of Penobscot bay, Pen Bay Medical Center and Waldo CountyGeneral Hospitalis currently developing a Regional Neurology Program and is seeking 2 BE/BC Neurologists to join its growing team. Work within a widely supported specialty with a team of 4 established Neurologist that encompass three rural hospitals in Mid Coast Maine. This primarily outpatient position shares an inpatient role amongst the group and requires a call schedule and includes tele-stroke backup. The patient panel is general adult Neurology in a demographic that is economically a diverse older population. This position is based out of Pen Bay Medical Center but would also require minimal travel to 1 other coastal hospital once a week (20 miles either north or south of Pen Bay).
