UNITYPOINT CLINIC IS ACTIVELY RECRUITING FOR A BE/BC GASTROENTEROLOGIST TO JOIN OUR PRACTICE IN FORT DODGE, IOWA. - Established and growing practice - Current Providers: 1 Physician, 2 Nurse Practitioners - Experienced staff both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients extremely well - Competitive compensation and benefits package including: signing bonus, retention bonus, relocation, 401K match, CME, time away from practice, quality health, dental and vision insurance, wellness program, fitness center reimbursement, free onsite workout center, free onsite parking, onsite retail pharmacy, gift shop and cafeteria. - Onsite services include: radiology, lab, OR, Trinity Regional Medical Center, etc. - Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination - Quality of life outside of practice RESPONSIBILITIES - Clinic Open: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm - In office testing: breath test and capsule endoscopy - Procedures performed in Hospital: UGI endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP with interventions (i.e. Sphincterotomy, stone removal, stent replacement, etc.), and EGD with Bravo   - Call obligation = 10 days per month - Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care - Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve - Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment - Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills QUALIFICATIONS - MD or DO - Board Certified or Board Eligible (must become Board Certified within 5 years) - Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine and surgery in the state of Iowa - Eligible to work in the United States - Ability to work as a team member Community Details: Fort Dodge is a family friendly community that offers a lot of bang for your buck, cost of living is lower than other big cities in the area which makes those hard earned dollars stretch further.
