A community, not for profit, healthcare organization is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner – physician assistant to join a team of emergency medicine providers The Advanced Practitioner is responsible for complete patient care in the Emergency Dept, including treatment and referrals for treatment of acute/chronic and medical conditions. The Advanced Practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and refer patients using available technologies and therapeutics common to the Emergency Dept. including lab test, imaging, and electrocardiograms. Procedures common to the Emergency Dept., and primary care may also be performed by the Advanced Practitioner. The Emergency Dept is open 24 hours a day – 7 days a week and is always staffed with ED board certified emergency medicine physicians.
