Base Salary + Bonus Structure | Extensive Benefits | Signing Bonus | Retirement | Student Loan Forgiveness Job Description Provides OB and GYN care to an underserved population. Our population includes uninsured patients, Medicaid patients, and privately insured patients. We are not a free clinic, but we have a sliding scale that allows us to care for women regardless of insurance status. Variety Care includes 15 locations with Women’s Health at the majority of them. In our organization, you serve as a specialist to advanced practice providers in Women’s Health and Family Medicine. Clinics tend to be a mix of GYN and OB with some procedures as well. We aim to be a medical home for patients and try to provide any services needed that day if possible. Schedule varies, but is usually 1 day of GYN OR, 3 days of clinic, ½ day of procedures, and ½ day of administrative time. Clinic schedules are 12 patients per ½ day with a mix of GYN and OB. Our nurse practitioners and physician assistants do most well woman exams, so you get to focus on the problem visits. You decide how many / few deliveries you perform. The salary is competitive with great benefits, and additional earnings are directly tied to GYN surgeries and OB deliveries. There is also the opportunity to apply for loan forgiveness programs.
