Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for an Obstetrics and Gynecology trained Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Ft. Stewart Army Hospital, 40 miles southwest of Savannah, Georgia. This contract position offers: - OB/GYN Clinic Hours Monday - Friday - Operative Services on site 2 days per week - Shifts 8 hours - A minimal amount of On Call/Call Back - Malpractice covered by Federal Tort - Shall diagnose and treat the full range of OB/GYN cases, procedures, and surgeries Position Requirements: - Successful completion of a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited School of Nursing at the time of graduation. - Nationally certified as a Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited School of Nursing at the time of graduation. - Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency trained - 1-year experience in the past 2 years the full scope - Any State License is acceptable. - Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Company Overview: Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) was established in 1988 to deliver systems and processes designed to meet the unique needs of Military and VA Health Systems.
