We are looking for a dedicated Family Practice Physician to help us achieve our goal of providing excellent healthcare to underserved populations. This is a full-time position that is based out of our main campus in South Omaha (30 th & L.) As a provider at OneWorld, you will have the opportunity to practice the full spectrum of family medicine. You will provide care in clinic, which includes continuity care, chronic disease management, acute care, and procedures. You will also provide telehealth services, which can be done from home and includes caring for COVID patients. You'll work with an interdisciplinary, integrated team that includes Behavioral Health Therapists, Social Workers, Clinical Pharmacists, and RN Diabetes Educators. You'll be involved in strategic planning and quality improvement, and you'll have teaching opportunities with our medical students and on-site residency programs. Our EHR system has in-house technical support with provider-driven enhancements. Our providers have light phone call duty with nurse screening and triage that rotates through a team of 20+. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree required. Completion of an approved residency program in medicine required. Board certification, or board eligibility, required. License to practice medicine in the state of Nebraska, or license eligibility, required. ALS certification required. Proficiency in English required; proficiency in Spanish strongly preferred. (Between 80-90% of our patients are Spanish speaking, so being able to conduct an office visit in Spanish, at an intermediate level at least, without the use of an interpreter is highly valued.) Our providers are eligible for student loan repayment through the National Health Service Corps.
