Seeking both per diem and part-time nurse practitioners or PA's with either previous addiction experience or those looking to gain experience in the treatment of substance use disorders (SUD). The field of addiction medicine is growing quickly, and this position will enable you to gain experience providing wide-ranging treatment in the area of addiction medicine as part of the team for inpatient detoxification and rehabilitation services. The right candidate will have an opportunity to work with a committed team of professionals to provide increased access to evidence-based SUD treatments. A buprenorphine waiver and experience with inpatient detoxification/rehabilitation a plus but not necessary. Highlights include: Assessment and management of candidates presenting with withdrawal symptoms. Coordinate patients’ progress and treatment plans with an active multi-disciplinary team including counselors, nursing, and psychiatry. Evaluate patients for medication-assisted treatments, working collaboratively with staff to ensure continuity of care after discharge. Acquire knowledge of the most up to date evidence-based practices in the field. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
