Our pediatric floors care for complex med/surg case types as well as patients with cancer and intensive care needs. In the Adult complex Med/Surg care areas, we offer care to subspecialty patients in cancer, pulmonary, renal, GI, infectious diseases, cardiology, neurology and trauma, general medicine, geriatrics, and surgical services. Our intensive care units care for patients that require specialty intensive care in medicine, surgical, cardiology, neurology, trauma as well as intermediate care. Job Description The Clinical Care Technician works under the supervision of the professional nurse and collaborates to meet the needs of the patient within the scope of the role. The clinical care technician assists in direct patient care, provides environmental support and facilitates patient safety on designated unit and other units as needed. The clinical care technician has successfully completed and maintains competencies in role specific skills. The clinical care technician provides an environment supportive of the patient and family centered model of care. Education High School Diploma or equivalent required Current CNA Certification preferred Acute care experience preferred Completion of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) training program plus 1-2 years’ recent experience as a nurse aide preferred Current BLS Certification required Experience 1-2 years’ recent experience as a nurse aide required
