Exciting 100% outpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatry position with perks of private practice like set up and to serve as a core faculty in a residency program. We are recruiting due to rapid growth for one full time outpatient Child and Adolescent psychiatrist. The applicants will join our new state-of-the art behavioral health outpatient clinic in North Little Rock, Arkansas. This clinic is affiliated with the new Baptist Health/UAMS Psychiatry residency program that began in July 2022. Ten residents started in July of that year. 4 PGY1, 4 PGY2 and 2 PGY3. Our PGY3 residents have completed both child and adolescent psychiatry fellowships in other programs and could potentially be colleagues in the near future to expand our child adolescent division. The position is to provide outpatient medication management, therapy, supervision of upper level psychiatry residents in their child adolescent outpatient rotation, participation in faculty development opportunities and teaching resident didactics. Little Rock has a low cost of living with all the perks of a big city. Requirements: All physician positions are for Board Certified or Board Eligible MDs or DOs. This opportunity does qualify for a J-1 visa waiver. All physicians must be able to obtain Arkansas licensure before they begin practicing.
