The Community Health Centers has an exciting opportunity for a Family Practice Physician to join the team! Responsible for providing direct outpatient, inpatient and nursing home medical services to CHCB patients. Renders services that reflect current standards of medical care appropriate to local medical community. Responsible for coordination of, documentation of and continuity of care and for risk management. Participates in quality assurance and quality improvement efforts. Basic Qualifications Education: -Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of residency training program Knowledge, Skills and Ability -Good organizational and staff coordination skills -Willingness to work flexible hours -Ability to work independently and solve problems creatively with initiative -Affinity for working with a culturally and economically diverse patient population Licensure, Certification, and Other Requirements -CPR certification -License to practice medicine in State of Vermont -Board certification or clear path to board certification in family practice, or internal medicine -Successful credentialing and privileging by CHCB and applicable insurance companies, and possession of admitting privileges at local hospital/medical center About CHC: All people share a powerful need for the basic necessities of a good life and a place that understands that good health starts with a caring touch and a kind word.
