Pacific Rehabilitation Centers are the Northwest experts for the interdisciplinary treatment of work-related pain/injury and other biopsychosocial conditions. We have been providing programs for over 35 years using an interdisciplinary approach with a team of professionals that includes: psychology, vocational counseling, medical, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing and biofeedback. Our committed professionals are highly-experienced and use evidenced-based treatments to return patients to life, work and wellness. We are currently seeking a part-time RN at our established outpatient physical rehabilitation clinics in Everett and Puyallup. JOB SUMMARY: Provides medical care in accordance with the State of Washington Department of Licensing and professional scope of practice. In addition, provides diagnostic and therapeutic medical services to patients, while making reasonable and sound medical assessments and treatment plans. RESPONSIBILITIES • Monitors and educates patients regarding various chronic disease processes, as appropriate (i.e. hypertension, diabetes mellitus). • Provides nutrition and weight control counseling. • Assesses patients for chemical dependency problems and makes referrals as necessary. • Interacts with interdisciplinary staff, outside referral sources, and Pacific Rehabilitation Centers staff physician. • Teaches educational classes and provides individual counseling on health issues. • In cooperation with the staff physician, monitors and coordinates infection control program. • Performs other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE: Strong background in outpatient care, rehabilitation nursing and counseling. CPR and First Aid certification. QUALIFICATIONS: • EDUCATION: Credentialed as an RN in the state of Washington. • SPECIAL SKILLS: Ability to work with a wide variety of people and ability to track and organize multiple tasks.
