Job Description
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at MetroHealth Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a candidate to lead our Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility program. Applicants should possess excellent interpersonal, clinical and teaching skills, and should be board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and eligible for licensure in the state of Ohio. As an academic medical center, MetroHealth is committed to teaching tomorrow’s physicians; Academic rank within the Department of Reproductive Biology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience. Our faculty are actively involved in the education of MetroHealth’s Ob/Gyn residents, fellows (MFM, Urogyn), residents and Case Western Reserve University medical students. Our Ob/Gyn Residency attracts highly competitive candidates, many who have gone on to obtain fellowships, including in Reproductive Infertility and Endocrinology. The MetroHealth System is redesigning our campus with an innovative transformation plan to exceed the ever-changing needs of our patients and community programs. This billion-dollar transformation is the largest public construction project in Cuyahoga County and one of the largest in the nation. In November 2022 the MetroHealth community moved into the new hospital, featuring 270 private rooms and new state of the art facilities to support our patients and staff. In January 2023, the new Labor and Delivery and NICU will open. MetroHealth is also a national leader in population health initiatives and improving the social determinants of community health.
