Presbyterian Healthcare Services, a large and thriving healthcare system in New Mexico, is seeking an experienced Geropsychologist to join our Medicare Advantage Primary Care Clinic team in Albuquerque. As a Geropsychologist in our clinic, you’ll work alongside primary care providers, behavioral health specialists, and care teams to ensure our patients receive comprehensive, integrated services that improve both their physical and mental health. What You’ll Do: • Provide clinical services in behavioral health, substance abuse, and health behavior change aligned with the Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) model. • Deliver brief, effective interventions for a variety of psychiatric, substance abuse, and behavioral medicine conditions for a diverse patient population. • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care, helping to enhance patients’ overall well-being. • See 10-12 patients per day in a primary care setting, with a focus on aging adults in the Medicare Advantage program. • Contribute to a care model that emphasizes early intervention, preventive care, and chronic disease management tailored to the unique needs of the Medicare population. About Our Medicare Advantage Clinics: Our Medicare Advantage Primary Care Clinics are designed to provide specialized care to aging adults by integrating behavioral health services with primary care. These clinics offer a comprehensive, team-based approach that includes coordination of medical, behavioral, and social services. Our goal is to improve the health outcomes of our Medicare Advantage members through focused, accessible, and integrated care. As a member of our team, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our aging adult patients receive the support they need for both mental and physical well-being. The PCBH model allows for quick, effective interventions in a primary care setting, where you’ll collaborate closely with other providers to offer well-rounded care to our patients. What We’re Looking For: • Licensed Geropsychologist with a passion for working with aging adults, and a deep understanding of behavioral health and substance abuse conditions. • Experience in a medical setting, with a preference for direct primary care experience. • Comfortable working with a team-based care model and skilled in brief interventions for a wide range of behavioral health challenges. • Ability to see 10-12 patients per day in collaborative and adaptive clinic environment.
