Event Format
CareerMD events provide participating organizations with an opportunity to meet a large number of potential candidates in one place, at one time, and in a relaxed setting. While you may use your assigned table location to leave brochures or business cards within easy reach of candidates, there is no requirement that you remain at your station during the evening. CareerMD encourages an informal “meet-and-greet” style at its events.
Event Preparation
Extensive information about your organization, including your current vacancies and a profile, will be made available to event attendees online and in print, in advance of the event. Therefore, upon registering for an event, it is important that you be in touch with your CareerMD Account Manager to post your current vacancies and profile.
Hotels, Parking, and Shipping
If you will be bringing brochures, flyers, or other printed materials to the event, CareerMD recommends that you bring these items with you rather than shipping them ahead of time, in order to ensure their safe arrival. If you opt to ship your materials, please contact the venue directly for shipping instructions. Please note that CareerMD is not responsible for receiving packages and, upon arrival at the event, please check with the venue directly to retrieve your package.
Candidate Data
A key benefit of event participation is candidate data. All exhibitors receive a post-fair lead list of candidates who registered and/or attended the career fair. Information available about each candidate typically includes name, email, training data, citizenship status and geographic preferences.
