About the Organization
Since Hattiesburg Clinics founding in 1963 by ten physicians, it has grown into the largest multi-specialty clinic in Mississippi and one of the largest in the Southeast. Today, Hattiesburg Clinic has 300 physicians and over 150 advanced practice providers representing almost every medical specialty. The Clinic also employs over 2,600 professional staff members. The goal of Hattiesburg Clinics founding physicians was to create an environment that would promote quality health care and physician professional satisfaction. Fifty-nine years later, the goals of those founding physicians still apply. Hattiesburg Clinics mission, as a group practice, is to provide quality health care in an efficient and cost effective manner, with emphasis on excellence and service to the patient. The Clinics goal is to be the health care provider of choice in South Mississippi. From our 22 family medicine clinics to our specialty physician teams, Hattiesburg Clinic is focused on providing quality patient care at every level and continues to invest in health care technology. The Clinics electronic medical system helps streamline patient care by providing a single, secure location for a patients health information. And with new imaging technology such as digital mammography, the states first Aurora dedicated breast MRI, dedicated PET scanner, and multiple MRIs, Hattiesburg Clinic is focused on using the most current technology to provide patients with exceptional care.
About the Community
The community of Hattiesburg is home to the University of Southern Mississippi, William Carey University, William Carey College of Osteopathic Medicine, as well as a several community based residency programs.
