About the Organization

Serving the Communities of Central Minnesota for Over a Century

Our roots go back to 1886 when St. Cloud Hospital was built to serve the health care needs of people living in Central Minnesota. In 1995, CentraCare was formed, which today includes nine hospitals in St. Cloud, Benson, Long Prairie, Melrose, Monticello, Paynesville, Redwood Falls, Sauk Centre and Willmar. We also have more than 30 clinics throughout the area.

CentraCare has grown to meet the needs of the communities and is now one of the largest health systems in Minnesota. This means were able to offer the latest advancements in care, technology and treatments close to home. But what makes CentraCare special is not our facilities or technology. Its our people. We live in the communities we serve. Were neighbors, friends and family. And when you need us, we are here for you.

About the Community

CentraCare has facilities in Central, West Central, and Southwestern Minnesota. This region offers numerous four-season recreational activities, sporting, and cultural events. A variety of public and private schools provide high quality options for elementary and secondary education, as well as colleges for a wide range of higher education opportunities. Many of our locations are on or near major highways, offering an easy commute to Minneapolis/St. Paul but allowing you to live, work, and raise a family in a safe, low stress, relaxing community.
