About the Organization
Since our founding in 1885, CHI St. Alexius Health has been dedicated to serving the residents of central and western North Dakota, northern South Dakota and eastern Montana.
On April 19, 2016, CHI Mercy Medical Center in Williston, CHI St. Josephs Health in Dickinson, CHI Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake, CHI Carrington Health, and CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck, Garrison and Turtle Lake, united under one name to create a unified regional healthcare system. Additional CHI St. Alexius Health locations include Beach, Mandan, Minot, New Rockford and Washburn. CHI St. Alexius Health Managed Hospitals include Ashley, Elgin, Linton, Mobridge and Wishek.
CHI St. Alexius is a Roman Catholic organization whose sponsors are the Sisters of St. Benedict of the Annunciation Monastery, Bismarck, ND and as an organization we follow the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services as promulgated by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Throughout its history, CHI St. Alexius has proudly served central and western North Dakota. Our ever-expanding lists of medical program, services and providers play an important role in the overall health and well-being of our communities.
