About the Organization
Providence Healthcare Network offers advanced medical facilities in virtually every medical discipline. As member of Ascension, Providence serves a mission of compassion: Rooted in the loving ministry of Jesus as healer, we commit ourselves to serving all persons with special attention to those who are poor and vulnerable. Our Catholic health ministry is dedicated to spiritually centered, holistic care which sustains and improves the health of individuals and communities.
Providence offers a continuum of care from pre-natal to long-term care, from emergencies to family health clinics. Providence is home to medical specialists in cardiology, cancer, orthopedic, neurology, stroke, and many others.
Providence Health Center includes a 237-bed acute care hospital, a post-acute care on campus, an ambulatory services building for outpatient procedures, an MRI center, and a professional medical office building.
The physicians of Providence are not only on our main campus-they're in neighborhoods too! Providence Clinics provide convenient healthcare for every member of the family. From routine physicals and preventive medicine to treatment of illness and injury, our team of health professionals is dedicated to providing quality, person-centered care. Providence clinics provide a diverse range of services that include 9 primary care clinics and 10 specialty clinics located throughout the Waco community.
