General Introduction
------------
An inviting career opportunity awaits you with Peninsula Community Health Services (PCHS)PCHS is a non-profit community health center. We serve a diverse population of uninsured and underinsured patients. We are not a free clinic, but offer a reduced fee for uninsured patients based on household income. Providers who do well in this system are those with compassion, who find intrinsic reward in serving the underserved.
Bremerton, located just across Puget Sound from Seattle, is the largest city on the Kitsap Peninsula. The Peninsula lies between the snow-capped Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges, and is surrounded by the waters of Puget Sound.
Kitsap County has more than 200 miles of shoreline, and claims the distinction of having more saltwater shore than any other county in the United States. Everywhere you look, youll find sparkling water, majestic mountains, and the tall evergreens that make the Pacific Northwest so breathtakingly beautiful.
