Marshall Medical Center includes Marshall Hospital, a fully accredited acute care facility with 125 beds in Placerville; several outpatient facilities in Placerville, Cameron Park, El Dorado Hills and Georgetown; and many community health and education programs. Marshall Medical Center has over 200 physicians and over 1,600 employees providing quality healthcare services to over 190,000 residents of El Dorado County. Marshalls Emergency Department is a verified Level III Trauma Center and our Stroke Program is not only distinguished as a Primary Stroke Center by the Joint Commission but also earned a GoldPlus designation from the American Heart/American Stroke Association. Marshalls Birth Center was also designated by the World Health Organization and UNICEF as a Baby Friendly certified facility for breastfeeding advocacy. Marshalls executive leadership is governed by a local board of directors who volunteer their time to represent the needs and interests of a growing community.
Marshall prides itself on family culture, which is brought together by providers and staff. We focus on community enrichment through health prevention, access to care, and reaching national health screening percentages. MMC promotes a work-life balance opportunity to its staff and providers to increase the health of our organization and our community.
