About the Community
Providence is a lovely city; it is home to myriad of cultural events - nationally-known Repertory Theater, opera, ballet, symphony, WaterFire and great restaurants. We offer the benefits of city living with easy access to the ocean and outdoors. Providence is near superb ocean beaches, sailing, skiing, hiking, and "the Islands" (Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, and Block Island).
Providence is also home to an Ivy League university, prominent colleges and The Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University; teaching opportunities are possible. We are less than 1 hour from Boston and 3 hours from NYC with easy rail commutes.
