About the Organization

Providing high-quality, cost-effective and compassionate health care has always been the priority of the staff at Bothwell Regional Health Center. Bothwell is an independent, 140-bed, city-chartered hospital in Sedalia, MO. Our policies and procedures are developed locally with input from our physician leaders. We completed a 56,000-square-foot medical office building in 2011 to offer spec space for physicians' practices. Today, that building is 75 percent occupied.

With a staff of more than 850 employees and 100 physicians, we provide a full range of diagnostic, medical and surgical services. These services include cancer care, orthopedics, cardiovascular care, rehab therapy, sleep medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, diagnostic imaging, and many other out-patient services including a network of primary care and specialty practices.

Sedalia, about an hour east of Kansas City and an hour west of Columbia, offers a unique blend of urban culture and easy, family-focused living. It is the retail/service hub for a multi-county market area of 60,000+. We have excellent education opportunities with a new public high school, multiple private school opportunities and a community college. The nearby Truman Lake and Lake of the Ozarks offers weekend getaways with endless opportunities for fishing, boating, golf and shopping.
