AnMed Health is a dynamic, comprehensive 648-bed healthcare system consisting of four hospitals, 57 owned or managed physician practices and one joint-venture surgery center. Located in Upstate South Carolina in Anderson, AnMed Health is an award winning health system recognized for patient safety and clinical excellence, and widely recognized as a regional healthcare leader. AnMed Health System is anchored by AnMed Health Medical Center, a 461-bed acute care hospital in downtown Anderson. SC. AnMed Health also has a satellite North Campus which includes the 72-bed Women's and Children's Hospital, a 60-bed Rehabilitation Hospital, a comprehensive Cancer Center, physician offices and the Cardiac and Orthopedic Center.
Major services include Heart and Vascular Care, Cancer Care, Neurological and Stroke Care, Women's and Children's Services, and a variety of related diagnostic and surgical services that account for a medical staff of over 400 physicians. The hospital's Level III Trauma Center receives more than 108,000 patient visits per year.
