Dayton Childrens Hospital is a free-standing children's hospital in Dayton, Ohio which offers a variety of employed pediatric subspecialists, including Neurosciences, Clinical Genetics, Orthopedics, Endocrine/Diabetes, Medical Cardiology, ENT, Allergy, Adolescent Medicine, Pulmonary services including a certified sleep clinic, Gastroenterology, Urology, Nephrology, Plastic Surgery, and others.
Dayton Childrens serves a pediatric population of 510,000 from a 20-county region of central and southwestern Ohio and eastern Indiana. A new, eight-story, 260,000-square-foot patient care tower sits in the center of the hospitals current campus. There has also been a major expansion of the Dayton Childrens Hospital Outpatient Care Center and Urgent Care in Springboro, Ohio, including a medical office building, a pediatric emergency department, an outpatient surgery center and a Sleep Lab.
About the Community
Dayton is the sixth largest city in Ohio and is noted for its association with aviation most notably due to the Wright brothers invention of flight.
