About the Organization
CMH is a Critical Access Hospital located at the mouth of the mighty Columbia River on the North Coast of Oregon. We have proudly served the healthcare needs of our community for over a century.
We are the fastest-growing rural hospital in Oregon. Our professional staff includes more than 70 physicians and advanced practice professionals from surgical, nonsurgical and primary care specialties. We have a fully integrated electronic medical record system and utilize the latest diagnostic tools and technology.
As an independent hospital, decisions are made locally with strong support and collaboration from our CMH Board of Trustees. We value input from our team, and our leadership encourages an open-door policy.
Providers at CMH enjoy a collaborative relationship with Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). The relationship includes cancer care, cardiology, emergency medicine, womens health, general surgery, telemedicine, and other CMH-OHSU Health Medical Group clinics. Providers have the professional support and academic resources to support their care and are able to participate in educational and training opportunities.
People are the heart of all we do. It is part of our philosophy as a Planetree Gold Certified Hospital. CMH is ACHC-accredited.
About the Community
CMH is the place for you to have it all a thriving and supported practice, a beautiful place to live, and an ideal community for you and your family to enjoy a magnificent coastal lifestyle.
CMH is located in Astoria, Oregon, which has been listed as a top place to live by numerous magazines and websites. We also have clinics in the nearby communities of Seaside and Warrenton. The natural beauty of the North Oregon Coast, the friendliness of small-town life, and the vibrant arts and restaurant scene make this a great place to live.
Whether you enjoy outdoor recreation, award-winning dining and craft-breweries, history, festivals or family fun, we have it all. Hiking, beachcombing, tide-pooling, fishing, zip-lining, cycling, kayaking, kiteboarding, hunting and surfing are just some of the recreational opportunities. Portland is just a 90-minute drive.
Astoria is also home to a vibrant art scene and a charming downtown district known for its hilltop Victorian homes reminiscent of old San Francisco.
