Northeastern New York's Only Academic Medical Center;
Albany Medical Center is the centerpiece of medicine, research and medical education in our region and one of the area's largest private employers.
It incorporates the 766-bed Albany Medical Center Hospital, which offers the widest range of medical and surgical services in the region, and Albany Medical College, training the next generation of doctors, scientists and other healthcare professionals. Albany Med works with dozens of community partners to improve the regions health and quality of life.
Albany Med is affiliated with Columbia Memorial Health, Saratoga Hospital and Glens Falls Hospital to provide the largest locally governed health system in the region. Combined, these four hospitals offer 1,520 beds, more than 800 physicians and 125 outpatient locations throughout the Capital Region.
Albany Med is like no other health care provider in our region, providing our community with the highest level of patient care across disciplines, while receiving regional, national and international recognition for high standards in patient care, education and biomedical research.
