About the Iowa Primary Care Association
Since 1988, the Iowa Primary Care Association (Iowa PCA) has supported Iowas community health centers (CHCs) also known as Federally Qualified Health Centers to support their ongoing commitment to provide quality, affordable, and accessible primary and preventive healthcare to meet local community needs. We are a non-profit membership association that supports our 14 CHC members. We are recognized as a trusted voice on healthcare, particularly concerning rural and other underserved areas. Iowa's CHCs collectively provide care and supports to nearly 245,000 Iowans each year through over 810,000 patient visits.
Our work focuses on our mission of enhancing CHCs capacity to care.
