Project Vida Health Center is a multi-site, Federally Qualified Health Center in El Paso, Texas. Linked with its sister agency, Project Vida, it is part of a comprehensive community-oriented program including integrated primary and behavioral health care, affordable housing, education, homeless prevention and recovery, and economic development in Far West Texas. It has affiliations with Texas Tech Health Science Center in El Paso and the J. Paul Foster School of Medicine, the University of Texas at El Paso, Family Services of El Paso, and Casa Vida/Recovery Alliance of El Paso. It has pioneered the integration of primary care and behavioral health and is recognized by the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health at the University of Texas in Austin.
PVHC seeks family medicine, pediatric, and psychiatric providers, preferably bi-lingual (English/Spanish). Salaries are competitive, and benefits include health insurance, continuing education, a generous paid time off policy, and access to a 403(b) retirement savings plan. Most clinic hours are M-F, 9-5 with some afterhours clinic schedules.
