Southeastern Health, a nonprofit organization, is a comprehensive healthcare system committed to advancing health and wellness in our community.
Southeastern Health includes Southeastern Regional Medical Center, the only hospital in Robeson County, serving patients throughout southeastern North Carolina. The hospital is currently licensed for 452 beds, including acute care, intensive care, psychiatric, inpatient hospice and long term care beds. The hospital employs more than 2200 people, has over 100 active medical staff and has almost 400 credentialed providers (including physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and CRNAs). On average, SRMC cares for 16,000 acute care patients, has more than 75,000 emergency visits and delivers 1,400 newborns per year.
Southeastern Health owns and operates over 35 specialty and primary care practices, including Southeastern Heart Center, managed by Duke Medicine, Gibson Cancer Center, Southeastern Hospice House, a 12-bed inpatient hospice facility and multiple NCQA-recognized Patient-Center Medical Home practices.
In addition, Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine and Southeastern Regional Medical Center celebrate a partnership which includes resident doctors and third-year medical students starting their rotations in Southeastern Regional Medical Centers new 10,000-square-foot section for medical education.
