About the Organization
Celebrating 40 years serving over 9,000 patients from Charleston, Georgetown, and Berkeley counties,
St. James Health and Wellness serves the community as a Federally Qualified Health Center providing
quality, accessible health care to our patients. Our 6 Family Practice sites and our Pediatric practice,
including the expansion of our Pediatric foot print through School Based Health Clinics, are positioned
where patients need us the most. Designated a Patient Centered Medical Home by NCQA, we are
seeking energetic physicians to join us as we grow. Among the excellent suite of benefits we offer
include assistance with student loan repayment through the National Health Service Corp Loan
Repayment Program, Group Health/Life/ Dental/ and Disability Insurance, Malpractice Coverage through
the Federal Torts Claim Act (FTCA), time and monetary allowance for CME, in additions to payment of
Professional Licensing and Societal dues, and a generous number of paid holidays and paid time off.
Located on the Coast of South Carolina, we are well positioned for individuals and families seeking
access to the beach while serving our community.
