About the Community
Asian Health Services is a Federally Qualified Health Center providing health, social, and advocacy services for all regardless of income, insurance status, immigration status, language, or culture. Our approach to well being focuses on whole patient health, which is why we provide more than primary care services, including mental health, case management, nutrition, and dental care to more than 27,000 patients (117,000 encounters per year) in English and over 12 Asian languages: Cantonese, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Khmer, Korean, Tagalog, Mien, Lao, Mongolian, Karen, Karenni, and Burmese. AHS provides services in multiple clinic, urgent care, and school based sites in Alameda County.
