About the Organization
Digestive Health Associates of Northern Michigan, P.C. is a specialty-specific gastroenterology practice located in Traverse City, MI. We currently have six full-time shareholder physicians, one part-time employed physician (taking call at the hospital only as his path to retirement) and 3 physician assistants. Physicians work 4.5 week days first year, 4 week days each year thereafter. Hospital rounding/call is 1:6+ rotation with PA assistance during hospital weeks. The rest of the physician time is split 60/40 between endoscopy and office. Partnership opportunity after 1 year.
Most procedures are done at the Northwest Michigan Surgery Center, located downstairs from our office suite. Hospital admissions are through Munson Medical Center, a 391 bed tertiary care facility and Level Two Trauma Center which consistently receives Top 100 Hospital Awards.
